They take all the aspects of reality that are already fun and then leave out the ones that will deter and frustrate their base. ![]() When you make a game like this you have to find a balance of reality and fun that you believe your audience wants. However, WRCG is also, without a doubt, the most realistic Rallying experience you can have in a game, no debate. They are not trying to create a platform for real life training, nearly as much as delivering a fun experience. ![]() WRCG is right on the edge of being a simulator but is not a simulator, and that’s intentional by its creators. This is a tricky question because being a “true simulator” and not a game often has more to do with the intention of the developer and how it’s marketed. I’ve put in a large amount of time into just about every rally game/simulator that is available, even IRacing’s iRX series.
